The glance may save but the gaze transforms.

Behold

At the heart of the Christian life is a call both simple and profound: “Behold the Lamb of God.” These words, spoken by John the Baptist, are not just an invitation—they are the essence of discipleship. To be a follower of Christ is to learn, again and again, how to fix our gaze on Him. Our time on earth is an apprenticeship in learning to look and be looked at, a journey of formation that prepares us for heaven, where we will delight forever in the beauty of God revealed in the face of Jesus. He is our great reward.

But how do we learn to behold him? How do we recognise his presence, sense his gaze upon us, and rest in his love?

Behold is a five-day retreat designed to guide you into a deeper way of seeing. Rooted in Holy Scripture (especially John 1:35-42), we will journey together into the wisdom of the Christian tradition. Through silence, stillness and contemplation, we will cultivate a posture of waiting before the Lord, trusting in the renewal of the Holy Spirit to enable us to behold his beauty.

This retreat is for those who long to slow down, quiet their souls, and encounter God in a fresh and life-giving way. Whether you are seeking renewal in your prayer life, deeper intimacy with Christ, or simply a holy pause from the noise of the world, Behold offers a space to listen, receive, and rest in His presence.

Come, let us behold the beauty of the Lamb.
