In Returning and Rest.
“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.”
This five-day retreat is designed for leaders and their teams to return to their first love in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is an opportunity to step out of the busy demands of organisational life and into the sabbath rest of God—a rest made available to in Christ.
We draw water from St Columba’s Well to reaffirm our baptismal vows, entering afresh the reality of our union in Christ. Through worship, eucharist, teaching, and contemplative prayer exercises, we will revel in the glory of the Gospel and trust in the renewing work of the Holy Spirit.
Ample space is provided for silence, solitude, and personal prayer, allowing you to slow down, breathe deeply, and be fully present to God’s presence. For those who desire it, one-to-one spiritual direction is available.
